My one roommate has moved out and took all her stuff with her, and it’s hilarious because that includes the trash can and kitchenware and stuff so now the two of us left are truly living that sad bachelor lifestyle
You know I’ve seen the “is she gay or just an art student” joke but i never thought it would apply to me
I’m not artsy, I promise you’re completely misreading my look
What pokemon type do you think i am?
Bonus points if you have a reason

JIll hates it because it’s awkward and drama, and she loathes that shit
(I
fully confess to being the one who corrects people with her, because
when she gets percieved as a man, I get percieved as straight, and, NO)
Yeah Hollistraight just doesn’t have the same ring to it
(I’d do the same damn thing)
And I feel Jill on this I loathe that people make it so dramatic. There’s zero reason to, just correct yourself and MOVE ON.
TODAY’S A DAY TO BE BITTER ABOUT GENDER STUFF I GUESS
I really, really hate it when people make a big deal about misgendering me when I have not corrected them. Like, I don’t care if customers think I’m a dude, but I care a LOT when they change their mind about what I am and treat it like THE WORST THING EVER that I can be mistaken for a boy. Some dude apologized to me like five times today including once halfway shouting from the escalator and it’s like chill dude I don’t feel bad about it until you make me feel bad about it.

also trans women and gnc women are pretty much who these bills and
policies affect–it’s sad but true that sometimes my wife feels safer
using the men’s room even though it doesn’t watch her identity, beacuse
it’s ‘safer’ for her to be a man
yeah, my main issue with the focus on gnc women is that it’s the ONLY thing I’ve seen people respond to, like “look it’s hurting cis women! oh no!” or else like “haha they’re hurting the people they claim to want to protect”
also I get bristly because there isn’t that safe option for trans women, they’re not safe using the men’s room and I feel like that gets glossed over a lot in favor of “denying their identity makes people sad” stuff (which is also valid and important but I don’t see the safety issue acknowledged much, probs because no one wants to admit they’re putting people in very real danger)
I get really annoyed with how in almost everything I see about the bathroom issue, cis women are shown to be the ~accepting good guys~ as if they/we are not the primary policers of who uses the women’s bathroom
like cis men suck don’t get me wrong but cis women are a huge part of the problem too and it’s so disingenuous to pretend otherwise

MY POWER GROWS
Soon my subconscious mind will be filled with nothing but your fics
I look forward to the dream where my lady gives me her favor to wear during a track meet (that one line has still ruined my ENTIRE LIFE)

I had a dream about going to Olive Garden for a date.
I know exactly who to blame for this
So there’s this short film called Still a Rose and I have some problems with it but
I love it because
