I totally go off the rails in these AU situations and have haruka as having had a little teenagebf because she was so desperate for affection and love that whatever it doesn’t matter.

WHY ‘BUT’? No honestly, one can live without dating very long, BELIEVE ME SAM (I actually think I would have lived until now if I wasn’t stupid enough to put my ass into things I’d better hve avoided, SOOOO)

This is all absolutely true! I just see Haruka as someone who wants to pursue romance/find a partner, so I think she’d TRY dating

I like to imagine Haruka as having her first kiss (and first anything else, really) with Michiru, no matter if they are teens or not… or, perhaps, the farthest she got with another girl being an awkward good-night-smooch after a date the girl initiated cause haruka would never dare to.

I LIKE THIS A LOT. It works well with the idea I have growing that Haruka might have trouble getting further than a second date. ESPECIALLY if there’s some expectation for Haruka to be the one making moves

today was a lot of work and pretty rough at time but it was such a great day for my presentation. the crowd was so great! lots of people complimented my bow tie, and a couple people just kind of yelled that I’m v cute (I think they thought I worked FOR the celebrity, like on his team, rather than the bookstore, which to be fair the aesthetic fits well (my coworker and I took a pic with him and it’s HILARIOUS because we’re all wearing short sleeved blue button downs and have similar haircuts))

And to top it off the girl messaged me that I looked v dapper (it was her first time seeing me in a bow tie) since she forgot to tell me in person

now that my raise has kicked in I’m among the most financially stable of my friends and navigating that is weird, especially KNOWING that offering to pay for things can make people uncomfortable when money is tight BUT AT THE SAME TIME IT’S HARD TO NOT BE LIKE HEY I FINALLY HAVE SOME EXTRA MONEY IF YOU WANT TO SEE THIS MOVIE WITH ME I COULD PAY FOR YOUR TICKET. YOU WANNA DO A FUN THING I LOVE FUN THINGS AND CAN FINALLY AFFORD SOME FUN THINGS.

i hate when people act like having a butch lesbian or a flamboyant gay man character isn’t “real representation” because they’re “just a stereotype”. butch lesbians EXIST. LOTS of butch lesbians exist! same with flamboyant gay men! butch lesbians and flamboyant gay men are wonderful, and correctly-written representations of them are wonderful too. a femme lesbian isn’t inherently better representation than a butch lesbian.

oh, and wishing that a “stereotypical” gay/lesbian character was straight because you think that would be “defying sterotypes” is just plain Bad, folks!
