Quick She-Ra episode 8 thought- I was very excited to see Catra in a suit, but I was sad Scorpio did not also get to wear one.What she said about not going to the ball because she made the other princesses uncomfortable read to me like she was talking about her masculinity as much as being part scorpion (and was super relatable to me in that). I love big buff femmes, but up to that point I thought she was pretty butch-coded, and it’s just a little disappointing, especially because I kind of see a trend in this sort of stuff where characters can play into masculinity only in pieces, lest they be seen as too butch.
