I’ve been asked a few times about the W.I.T.C.H. release, so I wanted to share some pics! They’re really beautiful and high quality. I wanted to show them on my shelf in the last pic, but they’re actually too tall! I was expecting small flimsy volumes like I had years ago, but these are amazing. The paper quality is great, and part of why they’re pretty thick. Each volume is four chapters, and they’re more than double the size of my old two chapter books (sadly I don’t have them with me for a visual comparison).
These make up the entire first arc. The second arc comes out in January, and hopefully they’ll keep going! I love that they’re going an arc at a time and releasing all the volumes at once.

Since @captainsnumple brought up W.I.T.C.H., I wanted to share these. (I bring them to every place I live. I DON’T KNOW WHY)

They came with certain editions of the novelizations, which were my first introduction to the series. I think I missed out on Taranee and Cornelia because I was TOO IMPATIENT to wait for the special edition to come in before I read on (granted I should have just read them in the store and waited to buy, the content was perfect for little eleven year old me but the reading level meant I sometimes finished them in the car ride home from the book store)

BUT ANYWAY. Despire never having finished the series, it’s stuck with me in a lot of ways. (I wrote SO MANY W.I.T.C.H. rip offs as a young’un trying to write original stories. Even now my main project has stuff I can tie back to this.)

SAM I’M FUCKING 26 AND I KEEP THIS SHIT IN MY ROOM FOR 13 YEARS I MOVED AND I BROUGHT IT WITH ME I TOOK ALL COMIC ISSUES TO OUR COUNTRYSIDE HOUSE BECAUSE MY ROOM IS NOT ENDLESS BUT I KEEP GODDAMN HARDCOVER BOOKS AND STICKERS AND WOODEN FIGURES AND PENCIL CASE AND STICKER ALBUM I WAS WHAT 22 WHEN IT WAS PUBLISHED AND I FILLED IT COMPLETELY I EXCHANGED STICKERS WITH PEOPLE FROM OTHER COUNTRIES FOR LIKE A YEAR I DIDN’T EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH AT THE TIME OMG

AND THIS SPARKLING SHIT CAME WITH THE ISSUE IN 2003 OR WHATEVER AND IT’S STILL HANGING IN MY ROOM AND IT MORE LIKELY WILL TILL DEATH COMES AFTER ME

I CAN’T BELIEVE I CAN TALK ABOUT THEM AGAIN AHAHAH OH GOD
