A familial tattoo outing was my mom’s last Christmas present for my sister and I, mostly because she knew she’d never get one without us all there. She said watching me get this was worse than actually getting hers.

It did hurt a lot! But it was worth it. We all got roses in honor of our grandmother (well, my mom in honor of her mom), and I decided to make mine a tribute to Revolutionary Girl Utena as well since the series has become so important to me.
