This has been stuck in my head for a while and I finally gave in to draw it out. Not as nice looking as I imagined, but the concept depth and style is definitely something I’ve never done before. I was indecisive and made different versions instead.

I was struck with this image of a young Haruka and it derailed all my current other doings till I drew it.
(When I do a more finished version, I will fix the NOT GOOD anatomy)
I love this. One of my major personal headcanons is that Haruka wore her hair in a long straight French braid as a Young, because so many of the baby butches I knew did it their whole childhood.
This is where my “Haruka is good at braiding” headcanon comes from, bless you space
