If you know of Team Rocket Executive Kylo’s past, it’s in your best interest to never speak of it. Early in his career, his team included a Pangoro. A cocky Grunt pointed out how similar it was to his father’s Ursaring. There are two rumors for what happened next– that he killed it, and that he didn’t have the guts to kill it and let it go. Believers of the latter had best not speak too loudly. More than one Grunt has had their Pokemon killed when Kylo overheard.

(If anyone has realized that Kylo’s mother, the Champion, also carries a Gyrados, they’ve kept it to themselves.)

Kylo is determined to master Mega Evolution. Though he’s acquired only one Mega Stone so far and conventional rules allow only one Mega Evolution per battle, he plans to have a whole team of Mega Pokemon. Team Rocket makes their own rules, and if Kylo can be strong enough to handle six Mega Evolutions, he deserves to use them. He will be the world’s most powerful trainer. He will.

Veteran Trainer Han Solo might have liked to remain a petty thief and gambler, but when your best friend is the former champion and your (ex?) wife is the current one, it’s hard to fly under the radar (not to mention how often he found himself helping their efforts to take down Team Rocket). No one’s seen the retired Champion Luke for years, and Han secretly hopes to come across him in his travels. As far as his son goes… he hopes the opposite (mostly).

Chewbacca the Ursaring technically isn’t Han’s Pokemon. Although they’ve been together for decades, Han has never formally captured him. As such, Chewie acts as more of a co-trainer than a Pokemon, offering insight that only Han can understand.

Rocket Executive Phasma has an unorthodox approach to training Grunts. She doesn’t believe in giving them all Rattatas and Zubats until they prove themselves, but rather invests in getting them the Pokemon they need to succeed. After all, her own team breaks from Rocket tradition. Finn was one of her personal projects, and she takes his defection as a personal slight.

While her fellow executives quibble over who can get the most attention from the boss, Phasma believes her work speaks for itself. Though she’s rarely involved on the planning side of schemes, her battle record is almost spotless and the Grunts she trains always have her back.

Pokemon: The Force Awakens 3/?

Rey’s spent her life battling for survival in the desert. Flygon and Sandslash are her only companions, until Poe’s distressed Togetic finds its way to her. Unable to turn her back on such a friendly creature, she decides to leave the only home she’s ever known to help him find his way.

When she finds her way to Poe and Finn, she’s surprised by how much kinder they are than the desert trainers she’s used to. With a little coaxing, she decides to join them. She quickly proves to be a more powerful trainer than anyone expected. Her trusty ground Pokemon are naturally high leveled, and the grass and water Pokemon she’s delighted to capture grow quickly. When Rayquaza not only appears but allows her to master it, Poe and Finn realize their companion is the stuff of legends.

Pokemon: The Force Awakens 2/?

Orphaned and taken in by Team Rocket at a young age, Finn is well on his way to becoming an Executive. He’s one of the strongest battlers the organization has seen in years, though he has a tendency to break protocol and heal not only his Pokemon, but also his teammates’ a little too often.

The first time he sees a Pokemon die because of their actions, Finn knows he can’t do this. He frees prisoner Poe Dameron and with the help of Poe’s flying Pokemon, they escape. Outside of the influence of Team Rocket, Finn finds he has a knack for befriending Trainers and Pokemon alike. He adds Eevee and Altaria to his team, quickly mastering the much coveted Mega Evolution.

Pokemon: The Force Awakens 1/?

Bird Keeper Poe Dameron was flying through the gym challenge when his hero, Elite Four Champion Leia, asked for his help taking down the notorious Team Rocket. Never one to turn away from Justice, Poe puts the Pokemon League on hold to take down the criminal organization.

BB8 the Togetic may seem out of place on his otherwise sleek team, but their friendship is unmatched. He is the first and only Pokemon Poe has hatched from an egg. When Poe is defeated and taken prisoner by Team Rocket, it’s BB8 he trusts to fly away with the Master Ball he’s recovered for Leia.

The Force Awakens theories

charlesoberonn:

  • Luke Skywalker from the end of The Force Awakens and Luke Skywalker, the protagonist of Episodes IV V and VI, are the same person.
  • A Lightsaber’s blade is made of light, and is shaped like a saber.
  • Kylo Ren has actually been the true villain of the movie the whole time. In the scenes where he tortures people for information, blows up planets, and tries to kill the heroes with his lightsaber, he was secretly trying to hurt them.
  • This might not be the first time Han and Leia have met. The way they look, talk and hug each other, and the fact they have a son together, suggests that.
