The hardest thing about rereading Harry Potter at this point in my life is that there is a grand total of one (1!!) Canon Queer character in the cast of thousands. So at least 60% of my reason for rereading is to find the less-than-canon queer characters. And Colin Creevey is the tiny gay Gryffindor my heart needed to persevere through book two.
Now I’m just waiting for something to spark queer lady headcanons.
