Setsuna reads Usagi like a book, and then asks her to be more honest which you know is 50% PLEASE YOUR DAUGHTER NEVER FEELS ENOUGH LOVE, I WANT HER TO BE HAPPY
And Usagi’s response is basically, okay, but also, I’m still going to pretend to be annoyed
(I do think Usagi does a better job than NQS, generally, but you know Pluto’s gotta be dying, like, WHY IS NO ONE NICE TO THIS CHILD, WHO IS MY FAVORITE PERSON?)

I’d be so interested to see Nao’s Haruka and Sayuri’s Seiya together, I could see them playing off eachother in amazing ways, and the immediate image that comes to mind is Nao putting Sayuri in a headlock. IT IS BEAUTIFUL THANK YOU

She’s a combination of the annoying theater kids and the guy who always brings his guitar to play wonderwall and it’s amazing
Setsuna’s like “Um excuse me you and Mamoru are my OTP and also I’m pretty sure two wars were fought for you to be together, I don’t think–”
“Shhhhhh it’s not cheating if they’re famous Mamoru will understand.”
And Yaten judges it all
The gag of passing something you don’t want to do onto someone else like this always gets me, the way Usagi is just like “yeah okay!” and moves onto Yaten is a simple joke but man it always kills me
but like, what the fuck is Yaten doing
WHERE DID YOU GET THAT ROSE. ARE YOU DOING THE FUCKING COOL LEAN? WHO ARE YOU POSING FOR?
This is always the cutest joke, I love that Setsuna doesn’t go for the “he loves you he would never look at anyone else” line that’s often used in situations, she goes for “you have the very quality you just referred to“ which is so much more helpful to Usagi, who I think can’t conceptualize people loving her enough not to leave as an idea unto itself.
It’s such an understated way to imply that since Mamoru has Usagi, he doesn’t need anyone else. Right before this, Usagi calls Setsuna a mom, but I think this puts her more as an older sister, someone who has a little more wisdom, but is still close to how you feel in the moment, and I love Setsuna getting that role, she’s still set apart from the others, but she can connect to them on a level we don’t really get to see elsewhere.
