PS this is what I mean when I talk about her being rushed- SHE DID A LOT OF STUFF AT ONCE, like do the numbers of what she’s talking about here.I guess I kinda get more defensive of her than other artists because she’s pretty clearly aware of a lot of the flaws and really apologetic about it. And I still really like her work despite all those limitations! So.i just like her i think she’s cool…and always will…

Today’s featured kiss is a little bit more unconventional! It’s Sailor Venus blowing a kiss in Venus Love and Beauty Shock, first seen in episode 154, Confrontation in Dreams! Minako and Makoto’s Broken Friendship.
Both Minako and Makoto awaken their Super transformations and powers when the make up with each other, coming together for a common goal— protecting children and people’s dreams.
This is Minako’s most powerful attack in the anime. It seems to be the most physical manifestation of what she is the guardian of, essentially sending a blast of love and beauty in the form of energy towards her opponent. It’s one of my favourite attacks to watch because she looks so comfortable with what she is doing. She’s blowing a kiss and winking as if she was playing the part of an idol rather than a Senshi, but at the same time she is fully aware of her duty and the power that her attacks have. To me, this attack represents Minako’s essence— playful, but powerful and dedicated too.
These are the kind of Valentines I like.
