Petition to change “he looked at her like she was the sun” to “he looked at her like she was the moon” and any other variation bc I look at the moon in wonder and love and amazement while I’ve only ever just squinted angrily at the sun

“Haruka looked at Seiya like she was the sun”–me in my next fic, probably.

Her hate burns so bright that, when she looks away, there’s an afterimage of Seiya in her field of vision…

There were times Michiru wondered, looking at the bright red tips of Haruka’s ears, if it were possible to get a burn from the heat of pure hatred, like some sort of homemade sun lamp.

Minako, meanwhile, wonders if ice will puff away in a cloud of steam and tries to talk Ami into trying out her attack on Haruka’s ears.

She pauses for a moment, and then places her hand on Ami’s
shoulder. “Wait just a sec, “ She looks down at Ami, “I’m concerned about
thermal shock. Can you crack a lesbian? What are their thermal properties?”

Ami sighs heavily.

Mina tweaks her chin thoughtfully. “I know someone who lost
a perfectly good countertop that way.”

And when Ami makes it quite clear (or as clear as she can, soft-spoken as she is) that she won’t do it, Minako tries to talk Rei into unleashing some fire, just so they can see what burns brighter – the fire or the ears.
