Obbligatory look-at-all-the-cute-I-got-at-NYCC post!

Fun story about the little Jupiter– I decided to take a gamble. One booth had those figures in their boxes, so you couldn’t tell what you got until you bought it. So I got one, figuring I’d be happy with any of them. And it turned out to be Jupiter, because I’m just that lucky. 
(I bought Chibs from a booth that let you pick which one you got, though. I needed a Chibs.)

The calendar poster was free at the Kodansha booth. (I grabbed a second one at the end of the day in hopes of keeping that one nicer. I grabbed this one at the *start* of the day, so it’s a little worse for wear).

Now, I’m 99% sure my Jupiter plush is a bootleg, as she’s not the size of the plush that has that tag and design and her brooch is the wrong color and she has no back bow, but she is the SOFTEST plush I’ve ever had (you can probably tell just from how the material looks compared to Mars (who may also be a bootleg, but a very very on-model bootleg)). I’m ridiculously happy to have her. (I keep grabbing her and pressing my face in her hair, because I am defenseless against such a combination of soft and cute).

Look what arrived just in time to come to school with me! This is actually the only new merchandise I’ve bought so far, and I’m really happy with the decision. They’re so tiny! Sadly I don’t have anything good for Minako to grip (she works on the top of lotion tubes, but I’d have to take her off too often), but her hair props her up just fine. 😛 Makoto and Ami are the easiest to get to sit, but Rei and Usagi have to be just right or else they fall. 

I meant to unpack completely before setting them up, but they were too cute to resist.
