This post is a direct followup to my last informational post which discusses where and how you can watch Sailor Moon: Crystal!

**Niconico premium information can be found here

**Niconico timeshift/watch period information can be found here.

Niconico seems pretty vague overall on what we can expect on whether or not you’ll have to pay for timeshift/watch availability. It doesn’t sound like you have to pay for premium, and then they have that disclaimer I quoted. Hopefully everything will be cleared up soon! I’m expecting an official post about it on the Official Sailor Moon website in about a month or so. I guess we’ll have to wait and see. D:

So it looks like it’s true and Sailor Moon Crystal is slated for 26 episodes! I’m not too bothered by this because that’s the typical length for a first anime season of an anime expected to be popular. I think if the anime does well, we’ll definitely get a second season and beyond.

It’s unlikely stuff like Haruka and Michiru, Sailor Saturn, and even Chibiusa will be covered in this first season, so if you want to see the Outers (and I really, really do) we need to give this anime lots of support.

Since it’s broadcasting on NicoNico Toei will actually be able to see how many people are watching. This means we can directly show our support by watching it there. So please, if you really like Sailor Moon, watch it on NicoNico rather than relying on other streaming sites. Show your support and we can get the whole story told!

Thought I’d address this since I saw a lot of people freaking out about how they will fit all of the arcs in 26 episodes. The first 26 episodes will strictly cover the first arc of the manga. This is stated on the official website as well as on the pamphlet recently released. So no Outer Senshi this season. Sorry guys!! Hopefully somewhere down the road…

I personally view 26 episodes as the ideal length for the first season. We need 5 episodes alone just to discover each Senshi. That leaves 21 episodes for plot and character development. Sounds good to me!!

This time, explained with pictures! SailorB, you’re the best ~♥
