Working on my final assignments for creative writing, and I’m way too close to crying because of how much I hate this class.
One of the assignments is a process note about the class and our writing and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write because the professor is such a horrible person (both in terms of the beliefs she holds and her behavior towards students) that it’s hard to bullshit positivity for a good grade.
So I have a job interview with a major publishing house on Monday.
What is life
I have my five minute thesis presentation in a few hours. I’m really glad it’s so short because during rehearsals I started getting nervous that me talking about gender could make people wonder about MY gender, and nope English Profs aren’t a crowd I’m interested in being out to.
Hey everyone, as a heads up I’m on spring break so my activity might be sporadic for the next week. I’m heading to Florida with my bff to work on my thesis and cry while getting sunburnt have lots of fun. Most likely I’ll be on at least a little still, but no promises.
So! I had my first day of training today, and it went well and I’m going back tomorrow so it looks like I’m going to have a job!
me: okay i have two stories due tuesday. time to get to work.
me: i’ll just put on some music for inspiration
itunes: *shuffles to the Fruits Basket opening*
me: *ends up crying and doing no work*
For someone who is completely not a morning person and who almost uniformly sleeps through mornings whenever possible, I sure do love mornings.
