YES this made me SO happy you have no idea. Michiru just blithely not considering that poor people don’t all have access to horses, but trying in her own way to make this bond. Haruka stubbornly trying to fake her way through it despite knowing she has no idea what she’s doing. I am SO GLAD you wrote this, it was adorable and hilairous

Thank you so much! I love the idea of Michiru just vastly underestimating what her background and Haruka’s MEAN, because until you face those differences, it’s all just like, oh sure, you didn’t have city money, but living in the country you get more for less, so are we really so different?
And I think that really, that they try to connect so hard means they will, even as they fumble, and they can learn so much from each other, I just love throwing them in AU’s so much and I’m glad you enjoyed this one.

  • Repentance is hard
  • It’s harder still when all your reasons for taking up chaos are still there
  • She still feels she deserves more than all that she is, still rages against the constraints of the world
  • But she returns to her planet, her first planet, destroyed as it is,and has a chance to build it anew
  • the survivors are few, and all distrustful, but they’ll allow her to work
  • she returns to the dirt she rose from, planting seeds, still seething hatred that all she’s done and she’s still ended up right back here
  • but then, weeks and weeks later, the first little sprout of a tree comes up from her seeds, and she feels something
  • it is not joy, or contentment, just simple growth and possibility. She can rise in a new way this time
  • Perhaps she can find her way to true justice, what she’s sought all along, her purpose that’s greater than the dirt she was born into
  • Perhaps it means she hasn’t repented at all, but she will try for a better world

I’ve never tried to draw them standing up (from life at least), and I’d be hesitant because I’m not sure it would be an exception

Oh man I feel you on the family thing. I love my mom but every time I see her I feel kinda weirdly uncomfortable? She also does the super feminizing thing. Anyway, glad it mostly well and that you’re back home safe =D

See how here eyes are just the warmest and deepest shade of brown? Doesn’t that make you feel calm and safe? ANd look here’s another pic and she is smiling and it’s so infectious you can’t not smile when she’s smiling or laughing she’s so magical. Maybe I will call her so you can hear her voice because it just lifts up your mood and floats you gently up to the clouds. She’s so wonderful. I love her. Don’t you feel better?

AHAHA I’m imagining like, a Hydra, each head has a different gender and sexuality, every time one head is severed another letter is added to the acronym

fighting it is a distraught little cishet, aiming to trim it down to fit in a single little box. the box is not big enough for even a single head. but the poor little cishet is determined and refuses to stop trying

Does this include making sure to wear the correct attire? Does she have to decide whether she wears the formal mustard or the semi formal mustard?

YES TO ALL OF THE ABOVE (though she may be intimidated out of the mustard by seeing strictly black suits in everything she finds)

She also googles pronunciation, starting with menu items and then even some words she thinks she knows just to be sure
