I don’t understand so much of the ASoIaF fandom’s take on Brienne. Just. Did we read the same books?? 

I probably need to stop following Brienne blogs, I don’t need to see stuff saying she really just wants to be girly or that she’d be super smart and not ugly in modern/other period AU’s.

#putting aside the campiness of this movie in general…#this scene was amazing#like it’s the opposite of grimdark#all sunlight and nature and the soft sudden reveal of power#such a beautiful world#i like that this movie is exactly as much of a reaction to the world as the matrix was#but there isn’t just this awful birth into the harshness of realizing a truth about society#there’s also this#stepping into the sunlight and realizing something new about yourself#terrifying and wonderful and strange and familiar#that’s why i unironically love this movie#you see a woman realized she is a FUCKING SPACE PRINCESS
