I had an odd hankering to mess around with colored pencils and thus went to the dollar store, which was a terrible idea because a) I haven’t used colored pencils for years and b) dollar-quality pencils make coloring even harder. But I thought you might like the idea behind the final product. 🙂 (Sorry if this got submitted multiple times, it doesn’t seem to be going through on my end)I got it just this once, so I’m glad for your tenacity!

Haha, so this is probably a little out of place with all the gorgeous art in the Sailor Moon Redraw tag, but it’s too fun an idea to let that stop me. Usagi Hood was too precious to not be my first attempt. (It helps too that it’s a simple shot, which I simplified further.) I wish I’d managed to make Usagi’s face as round as it is in the original.
But this is such a fun way to work on drawing, I hope to find time to do more.
