I feel like Hestia is way sassier than she’s given credit for.

She leaves her seat to Dionysus because this council-of-twelve thing is some ostentatious bullshit and not really worth the stress.

I imagine Persephone, home for the summer, going, “Look, my mom’s a little overbearing here, and Hera’s got that funky temper thing going for her and also a few vendettas, and my life’s just really stressful.”

And Hestia smirks and offers Persephone some warm delicious beverage and talks to her about how ridiculous her younger siblings were when they were all dicking around Chronos’ stomach and shows her Hades’ embarrassing baby pictures and when Persephone goes back down come the autumn she keeps giggling for weeks on end and Hades just knows because every time he and Hestia cross paths she has that I-love-my-baby-brother look of stifled cackling on her face.

I don’t know what I’m doing.
