My job is very boring, and recently they started me on a different, even more boring task. Both tasks require juuuust enough detail focus that I can’t zone out or even fully focus on stuff I listen to. Also I’m on the Saturday rotation this week, and overtime pay isn’t worth a one-day weekend.
My only solace is I’m somehow I’ve also been given the responsibility of helping the two new hires, they are my lil ducklings and I must protect them
