Damn, look at how beautiful this is. I can’t get over the attention to clothing detail here. I love how everyone has their own unique styles coming through. The colouring, the different personality in each of the girls, MAKO’S HEIGHT. There is so very much to love here. Just incredible work.
Setsuna-san? Have you ever made outfits for Hotaru-chan? If you have can we see a picture of her in one?
I wanted to tweak the colors of the outer senshi (+ chibimoon) so that they looked more like a team all their own, keeping a sort of rainbow-like unity that the inner senshi had, without using colors already claimed by them. (to be fair chibimoon and saturn didnt change much haha)
like, as a kid when I was first watching sailor moon s on tv, uranus and neptune’s costumes were almost indistinguishable because they were both such similarly dark colors. and then saturn and pluto were also very dark. WHICH I UNDERSTAND because they are distinctly more adult characters than the inner senshi, uranus and neptune had to match bc forever girlfriends
but still I longed for brighter, more unique colors
so that’s why I drew this the end
