I am officially 23! Last year I did a sappy post about my birthday, because 21 was the age I came out, but 22 wasn’t quite the same sort of milestone. I discovered a lot, and got comfortable with myself, but it was very gradual. 22 was also a rough year for a lot of reasons, even though I’ve come out of it far better than I went in.
A big part of my growth this year was in writing. While I still don’t write as much as I want to, I’ve been writing a lot more. So I thought I’d make a short list of my favorite fics I wrote while being 22.
