I feel like I’ve seen other people talk about this before, but I have no idea if there is a set fanon opinion on the matter.

THAT SAID I AM HAPPY TO OFFER MY OPINIONS.  These are in no particular order, or as they occur to me.  And I’m favoring personality over element/powers, so obviously there’s a lot of room for disagreement here.

As I said Rei is from House Targaryen.  Fire and Blood?  That is Rei at her most furious, most deadly.  If Rei Hino ever had reason to seek vengeance against you, fucking run.  The purple eyes are a nice touch too.  And yeah, the hair color is wrong, but I will remind you that R+L=J.

The next easiest girl for me to play is Minako in House Lannister.  There are some pretty superficial reasons for this decisions.  Theirs is the only house with an exclamation point in their words.  Tell me that doesn’t have Minako written all over it?  She has the look of a Lannister as well.  Plus, the Lannisters are one of the most cunning houses in the series.  They live to play the game.  Minako Aino would be a fucking master at the game.  If Minako had been in Cersei’s position, she would have fucking ruled the Seven Kingdoms.  Actually, now I’m curious about how she’d deal with Joffrey…. she’d be cool with Tommen though.  GASP!  ARTEMIS AND SER POUNCE!

I’ve seen several interpretations placing Makoto in House Tyrell, but I tend to favor Michiru there.  Elementally, Michiru doesn’t fit, but Makoto would be terrrrrible at playing the game.  As the second wealthiest house, they have to be right up there against the Lannisters.  Michiru can absolutely do that.  And Michiru could best Minako at the game, and you know, she might be the only one capable of it (excluding Setsuna, who is always an outlier).  Lannisters (and Minako) have a tendency to get caught up in the drama of it all.  Michiru wouldn’t get distracted, and that makes her a worthy opponent.

No, I’d put Makoto in House Tully.  I almost want to put her in House Stark, but it’s so cold there.  You can’t grow things there.  Makoto should be somewhere warmer.  And their words, Family, Duty, Honor is alllll Makoto.  God, Makoto and Catelyn would get along so well.  MAKOTO WOULD BE THE BEST CATELYN STAN BECAUSE MAKOTO IS ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THE WORLD.

Haruka I’d put at the Eyrie in House Arryn.  Yes, that does work for her elementally.  I DIDN’T SAY I’D DISCOUNT IT ENTIRELY. 😛  I almost put her in House Mormont because of the Bear Women, but Haruka has a certain elegance about her that I don’t think the Mormonts have.  Sorry House Mormont; I still love you.  Also it’s not as far from The Reach and House Tyrell.  High As Honor just really sounds like something that fits with Haruka.  And I often picture Uranus in the Silver Millennium wearing airy, flowy clothes that I associate with House Arryn.

Setsuna is House Martell, hands down.  I CAN’T EVEN TELL YOU WHY NECESSARILY; I’M JUST CERTAIN OF IT.  I think it’s because I consider the Martells and Dorne so separate from the rest of Westeros, and Setsuna is so on the outside of the Senshi group.  Also, tell me Setsuna wouldn’t be a fucking AWESOME Sand Snake?  I guess by this same logic, she could just as easily be Braavosi or Dothraki, but Dorne sings to me.

Usagi, Ami, and Hotaru, I’m not sure about.  I do feel like Ami and Hotaru could easily be maesters.  And I’m sort of tempted to put Hotaru in one of the “bad houses” (Frey, Bolton, or Greyjoy) because you know, the Tomoe house was pretty fucking terrible, but that feels so mean. 😦

AHHHHHHH I can’t believe this is posted right when I need to go to bed- I LOVE ASoIaF. I’m a book-verse girl, I never could get with the TV Show, so maybe my perspectives are a little different. I DO NOT CURRENTLY KNOW WHERE THE SHOW IS, SO THERE MAY BE SPOILERS. 

BECAUSE I need to be sleeping 5 minutes ago, I will tell you I agree with Michiru in House Tyrell. I feel like she would be a marvelous and dangerous addition to their ranks, and she has the skills to play the very dangerous game the Tyrells are forced into playing. I could see her being a more exciting Margaery. I think she would be better at the game than Margaery is, and I think she could quite easily maneuver her way into the Iron Throne. It’s a solid choice and it’s a great choice. 

Same for Minako in House Lannister- hard to put her another way. 

BUTTTTTTTT and of course there is so much room for disagreement here, I put Haruka in House Greyjoy. I think it’s the perfect place for her, in that I would basically be slipping her into the role of Asha Greyjoy- A lean, longlegged girl with short hair who dresses like a man and commands her own ship in a world of men, which is named, might I add, The BLACK WIND, and she is so incredibly skilled in this men’s world that people are forced to take notice of her. She manages to gain champions at the kingsmoot, she tries to become the Hand of the King, and for God’s sake, tell me this is not a Haruka line:

Asha: I am Asha of House Greyjoy, aye. Opinions differ on whether I’m a lady

HELLO YES. 

And Greyjoy has that ruthless, ironborn, driven raw cunning that is as much force as it ever is political. It’s also a very “outside soldier” house- they stay on the border and wait and watch and pick their moments. 

I will come back to this, I have to sleep, but I LOVE YOU SO MUCH for starting a crossover conversation I can actually sink my teeth into like whoa.
