I have SO many feelings about the second season
I dug back to see your posts about it, and YES I agree with a lot of it.
Though I’m way more aggravated with the Tahani/Jason stuff than the Eleanor/Chidi, but also WHY ARE THEY NOT ALL NEEDING TO BE PUSHED TOGETHER? They played lip service to the idea of all or none, but then it didn’t actually play out. (I also low key feel like Jason is a perpetual corner they write themselves into, but that’s a whole other thing.) (Also there was so little of Eleanor and Tahani playing off each other this season, I don’t even particularly ship them but I feel like their relationship got put too firmly on the back burner.)
BUT at the same time, I love absolutely everything they did with Michael and Janet this season. I think seeing both of them take on humanity is so interesting, and Michael’s relationship with Eleanor is pitch-perfect for me. I will be VERY disappointed if season three keeps them removed from the action.
