I’ve heard back from 2/4 jobs I applied for today and another that got my information somehow, idk if it’s that the Rochester job market is just that much better than NYC or if it’s because I added that I can troubleshoot copiers and printers to my resume

SO ACTUALLY doing more research, the big difference between Rochester and NYC is that a lot of job postings for Rochester aren’t directly from companies. They’re from HR companies hired by other companies. So they have a stake in looking at every resume, because if someone isn’t right for the job they apply for, they might be right for another position the HR company has been hired to fill, and that’s so neat to me like. It strikes me as a good way to get around a lot of job search/hiring pitfalls AND IT CREATES MORE JOBS
