I am about to finish the show I’ve been watching and so I’m asking if anyone has recommendations. Preferably it’s something that’s either finished or has fairy close-ended seasons, is light hearted, and on Netflix

why can this site not handle lesbians unless theyre anthropomorphized animals and inanimate objects

the minotaur is a soft lesbian and needs to be protected but this real life human woman with feelings and a life needs to give men a chance

the Earth is a strong butch lesbian who carries her femme gf the Moon but butch women are indistinguishable from men and b/f relationships are the same as het relationships

Random fandom nitpick: why do body type headcanons always make the cheerful characters chubby and the grumpy/depressed/reserved characters super thin? Why is it never reversed or different character types? And why is it that whenever two characters are a pairing, only one can be anything other than thin/fit (and it’s always the cheerful and/or super feminine one)?

Adding on to my thoughts on if the Starlights showed up in S, it also gives rich ground to ACTUALLY CONSIDER what it means to Usagi have her life set not just by her past life, but also by a future she’s seen. She’s 14/15 and she already knows she’s gonna have a child with her current boyfriend and also be with him for a thousand years. And while every teenager wants to believe their love is beautiful and destined and forever, ACTUALLY living with that has got to be hard.

So we throw in a charming stranger right on the heels of the full weight of it hitting Usagi, a stranger who’s cute and maybe has more in common with Usagi, who wants to take her on dates and get to know her and do stupid teenage stuff with her. And she has to wonder what it would be like to have a romance without destiny, and what it would mean for her to chose something else.

(Whatever antagonism Usagi has with Chibs, she loves that little girl and can’t fathom not having her. But that’s also a hard thing to bear so young)

I think it also gets complicated by Usagi defying fate by saving Hotaru at the end of the season, because if she can have her cake and eat it too with that, why not with other things?

(And while I think polyamory could work here, I think it’s not what Usagi would go for, because the problem isn’t really that she wants to be with other people, it’s that she isn’t sure she has a choice in being with Mamoru and she WANTS the choice)
