I’ve often thought about this too. They are the ones who can (and do) compartmentalize their feelings the best to do what is necessary.

Yessss. I think there can be debate over who of the senshi is the
best fighter (with Mako Haruka and maybe Rei as good contenders) but
Mina and Michiru are easily the best soldiers, Mina pulling ahead only
because Michiru made the decision to fight for Haruka above all else.

If you could get them united on a common goal they’d be nearly unstoppable as a team.
