(tho I know genderswaps aren't interested in complexity they're usually just WHAT IF BOYS)and it bothers me because she's actually rich ground for considering in different gender contexts and like. mako is one that always sticks out and that's something worth looking at in different angles and when I see boy!mako it's always just 'gentle giant' stuff because her relationship with her masculine and feminine traits is so important to me because I feel like it ignores characters relationships to gender but fully embracing her feminine genderswap cw idk the way a lot of people go genderswaps bothers me in canon we have her feeling pushed to masculinity Makoto MAKOTO KINO specifically a small trans boy
