Man I’m trying to switch banks because my old bank is Michigan based and therefore inconvenient and also keeps freezing my atm card but I have no idea what I’m doing

I see I can apply online but idk if it would be better/faster in person? There’s not clear info on how I’d get checks/cards if I do it online
