michiru and attic!

Attic:

  • What is the character afraid of?
Above all, she fears her own suspected emptiness. I think if Michiru had more regular nightmares instead of visions, she’d dream of looking in the mirror and seeing herself as a hollow doll; Haruka would come in and see she had been tricked, this whole time she’d been deceived into loving a shell of a girl instead of a real person.
Michiru fears Haruka dying as well, but there’s such a difference between fears you can work against and fears you can never fully confront.
  • How do they deal with bad memories?
Cold hard repression. Or else internalizing them. OR BOTH.
  • What is this character’s role in a horror movie?
She could easily be the killer/monster. But if she’s not, she’s either smart enough to gtfo and survive, or else is fighting whatever horror to save Haruka’s life.

  • How do they hide their secrets?
Michiru is the great performer that will never be recognized. If she does not want you to know something, you will not know it. And anyone who, through circumstance, finds out something she’d rather not get out? They’ll feel… compelled… to keep quiet.
  • Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?
Pride. Michiru can never turn her back on her Kaioh upbringing completely, and her pride in composure and appearances will never ever go away.
