listen once upon a time I was the shy valedictorian of my high school, Ami rings some bells. And she so sweet, but god I love the moments where they show she’s got teeth. - Why they are the worst
THE SAME REASON I THINK MOST “SMART” CHARACTERS ARE THE WORST. I love Ami, I do, but I have long resented characters whose primary trait is intelligence, just out of always being compared to them by default. That no longer really happens but sometimes I still feel it. - a canon fact (that shouldn’t be)
PEOPLE HAVE SAID THIS BEFORE, but her not going all out in her race against Michiru in S. There’s a difference between confrontation and competition, and Ami definitely has a competitive streak. - a non-canon fact (that should be)
One of my favorite pet headcanons is that among the inners, Ami is the first to know she’s not straight and be comfortable with it (not comfortable being out, but comfortable with herself). - a piece of advice I would give them
