SHE’S A DAMN GOOD FRIEND. She offers up her tiny fucking houseboat just because maybe it would help Kay find her feet again. AND ALSO SHE WORKS AT A GARAGE AFTER THE WAR TO KEEP WEARING TROUSERS. And I love that she has a humor and lightness to her, and she’s so LIVELY considering she’s a side character.
