I got super emotional at 2AM because I came across this moment in my writing:

“Do you think we’ll get through this and get to be normal again?”

“Sure. In a couple years you’ll take Annabelle to you senior prom, and then graduate and get married, and–”

“Shut up.” Emily balled up her napkin and threw it at her. “That’s not even legal here.”

“Well, you have a little time for that to get fixed,”

If I remember correctly, this scene was written just six or seven months ahead of the SCOTUS decision. IT ONLY TOOK LIKE SIX MONTHS TO BE DATED I’M SO HAPPY??
